Machi Kodama and Sho Takanaka founded the roastery in Sumida in 2020, naming it for the idiom for cherry blossom, plum, peach, and apricot. Kodama won the 2023 1st Crack Coffee Challenge roasting competition, and the roastery says its medium-light roasts bring out fruity flavors.
As of October 2026, the online shop lists lots from Cauca and Quindío in Colombia, Gedeo in Ethiopia, and Dehong in Yunnan, China.
